Amanda Coté is the Director of Finance and Operations and directs all day-to-day ongoing operations for the Preservation Society including financial management and human resource management. Prior to joining the Preservation Society, she worked in nonprofit management for over 12 years, serving as the Director of Operations for the Charleston Promise Neighborhood, and the Director of Operations, then Chief Operations Officer, at the Charleston Parks Conservancy. Amanda is a graduate of Clemson University and received her Society for Human Resources Management Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) designation in 2016. She also serves on the Lowcountry Advisory Board of Multiplying Good – SC, a nonprofit the celebrates and inspires individuals to service, bringing meaningful change to their communities. Amanda grew up in the small town of Clover, South Carolina and has been a resident of Charleston for over 25 years.
